Some days are ROCKS.

If your social media content is landing like a rock, the first step is to take a step back and evaluate what you’re posting. Ask yourself whether your content is truly providing value to your audience—does it entertain, inform, or inspire? Content that feels overly promotional, generic, or disconnected from your audience’s interests will likely be ignored. Take time to understand who your audience is and what they care about. Use insights and analytics to learn when they’re active and what types of posts they engage with most—whether it’s videos, carousels, memes, or behind-the-scenes content.

Improving your hook is also crucial. The first few seconds or words of a post can determine whether someone keeps scrolling or stops to engage. Make your visuals pop and your captions compelling. Don’t be afraid to experiment. Try new formats, ask questions, tap into trends, and test different posting times. You might be surprised by what works.

Engagement goes both ways. If you’re not interacting with your community, they won’t feel compelled to engage with you. Respond to comments, like others’ posts, and foster conversation. This can help boost visibility and build loyalty. Finally, be consistent and patient. Building momentum on social media takes time, and not every post will be a hit. Use performance data to guide your next steps, refine your approach, and keep showing up. Poor performance isn’t failure, it’s feedback!
